Rachana sharir is a backbone of all the medical health sciences. Rachana Sharir has an elaborative information regarding ‘Sharir’ (Body) from Ayurved samhita as well as modern anatomy. Ayurved sharir has so many peculiarities of its own like concept of Shatchakra, Panchabhautic sharir, Srotas, Prakruti & Purush, Marma etc. which has a great importance in therapeutic application. The knowledge of Rachana Sharir creates firm foundation in the application of medicine & surgery. Highly qualified faculty, postgraduate including PhD, is backbone of this department.
AIM:
To give complete theoretical & practical knowledge of Ayurved Sharir and its applied aspect in present era & making them eligible for good practitioner under the umbrella of health science practices.

VISION:
To develop ‘Ayurved Sharir Museum’ including Sushrutokta mrutashodhan model, Pramana models according to Sushruta & Charak etc. for practical orientation of concepts.
The Faculty publishes articles in various Ayurved journals, present papers in state-level, national and international seminars & webinars, on regular basis.
