Department of Rognidan & Vikriti Vigyan has been established in December 2019. This department deals with the study of pathology & clinical Medicine. Rognidan Department has 2 member which consist 1 Professor and 1 Assistant Professor.

The faculty members in the department of Rognidan & Vikriti Vigyan are well qualified, hold recognized PG qualifications & experience. The faculty profile of the department is as per the regulations of the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi (CCIM).
All the faculty members are trained in medical education technology & communication skills. Their duty allocation of academic research & administrative responsibility is as per the prescribed provision of the university. The faculty members are always trying to do the best in teaching by going through various types of texts.
The II year of B.A.M.S. plays an important role between Ist year & IIIrd year. In the academic year of II nd year B.A.M.S. there are 4 subjects to be taught. Amongst them, Rog-Nidan and Vikriti Vigyan is the most important subject Coz. It helps to diagnose the disease and without diagnosis one cannot treat the patient at all. While diagnosing the disease knowledge of Nidan Panchak and pathological factors are important.
The name of the Subject ROGNIDAN is self-explanatory and gives the very first exposure to the students about clinical diagnosis which helps in the management of the disease which is the key to success in Ayurved as well as medical field. To promote the complete knowledge of subject the department is developing its resources and its first step is Departmental Library.
The Goal of teaching this subject Rog Nidan & Vikriti Vigyan to under graduate students is to produce
signs and symptoms of disease and examination of patient and disease. This complete knowledge of disease enables the student to make accurate diagnosis of disease, which is essential for success of treatment which is the ultimate goal of Ayurveda. For a successful treatment accurate diagnosis of disease is essential, therefore to study clinical medicine base of Rog Nidan is essential. For the above goal, need of Integrated study of Rog Vigyan &Vikriti Vigyan with applied aspects of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology provides a very clear view of disease production and disease process. Laboratory investigation makes it clear whether the patient is responding to particular treatment or not and helps in prognosis of disease also.
